About me

I was a student of computer science at the University of Bonn focussing on wired and wireless networking as well as mobile networks. In the summer of 2004, I obtained my diploma and was hired by sepago shortly afterwards.

Right now, I specialize in many areas and products embracing application delivery:

  • Citrix Presentation Server
  • Citrix Secure Gateway and Access Gateway (all editions)
  • Citrix EdgeSight and EdgeSight for Load Testing
  • enteo NetInstall

In the past, I have written and published a document about Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) called The Practical Guide to Public Key Infrastructures which offers a hands-on introduction using OpenSSL.

Before and during my time at university, I worked as system administrator for several companies managing linux and unix servers and Windows clients. I built linux thin clients for one of those company and participated in multiple projects like Linux From Scratch and gentoo.

Contacting me

For obvious reasons, I am very cautious about publishing my email address on these pages. But you can assemble it by concatenating my first and last name (separated by a dot). The right-hand side of the address is built from the company I work for and the appropriate ccTLD (country-code top-level domain). Alternatively, remove “blogs” from the FQDN of this server. Got it? ;-)
