How can I make the xml request via
Microsofts, Javascript XMLHttpRequest?

I'm getting the right response back, but it doesn't appear to have the right effect.
I'm trying to logoff all sessions for a user.

If I post the same xml as your browser, it doesn't work.

Are there any server side logs I could review?

Thanks.

Great utility! I found that I was receiving the syntax error (Invalid character in the given encoding. Line nnn, position xx) eve with the updated comment syntax. Removing the comments altogether solved the problem.

Simon,

thanks a lot for the feedback. I was totally unaware of the fact that several controls did not have any effect on the XML request. I fixed the following controls on the Address-tab: ClientAddress, ClientName, ClientType and Flags.

An updated version is now attached to this article.

Best regards,
Nicholas.

Very nice piece of work Nicholas - I wish I had found out about it earlier.

I've found a small bug in Address function that you might want to take a look at. The flag settings 'no-load-bias' and 'alt'addr' are not being included in the XML request when they are selected in the GUI.

Regards

I have updated the XmlServiceExplorer. It now includes a check box to disable the Internet Explorer proxy settings to be used in the request.

Enjoy,
Nicholas.
